Bridges & Crowns

Missing and broken teeth are not only unsightly, but they also make chewing and speaking difficult. We can help you replace missing teeth in a variety of ways at Tooth Matters, including dental crowns and bridges.

Post-Operative instructions after Crown and Bridge work

  • Sensitivity to cold and pressure is common for a few days after the dental procedure, usually deeper the cavity more sensitive the tooth will be.

  • Many crowns fit below the gum line, because of that you may have some discomfort for a few days due to irritation of the gum during the procedure.

  • Your temporary crown plays an important role in protecting your tooth and holding the space for your permanent crown or bridge

  • If the temporary crown comes off or loosens in between the appointment, please try to place it back with denture adhesive and call for an appointment.

  • Avoid eating sticky foods and hard foods(caramel, chewing gum, hard candy) on the side of the mouth with a temporary crown.
